The Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier is located in the heart of Emerald Isle. You will find great fishing for many months out of the year at the pier and you may even catch a glimpse of a shark or two! Cape Lookout National Seashore
The Cape Lookout National Seashore consists of barrier islands just northeast of Atlantic Beach. Here, you can enjoy horse watching, shelling, fishing, birding, camping, lighthouse climbing, and touring historic villages. The Cape Lookout Lighthouse is a historic landmark that original built in 1812. Hammock's Beach State Park is part of Bear Island, a unique, unspoiled barrier island located between Emerald Isle and Swansboro.
