Chalk & Gibbs, Inc. manages commercial property as well as apartments, duplexes, townhomes and single family houses in eastern North Carolina. Our professional staff strives to keep occupancy levels high and properties in good condition while maintaining excellent communication with the property owners and tenants.

Services Offered:

Fully staffed rental department
Advertising
Lease Applications – including credit approval, employment verification, previous landlord reference, income verification
Collection of rent payments
Direct deposit to Owners bank account is available
Pay expenses associated with the property such as maintenance bills, mortgages, homeowner association dues, insurance and any other payments requested by property owners
Advise Owner’s of improvements that will help property bring in the maximum rent
Provide monthly, year-end and Owner’s IRS 1099 statements
Conduct Move-In and Move-Out inspections and provide written reports
Coordinate maintenance repairs
Act as the day-to-day management arm for the property Owner
Enforce rules and regulations as requested by property Owner
Conduct regular inspections of the property to assure that maintenance problems are caught early and that the grounds appear neat, clean and presentable
Be responsible for keys
Provide 24 hour emergency service
